Surveillance: First impressions
I hate stopping a movie and coming back to it later, but I'm going to have to do that tonight. Doing so always takes away from the state of mind that the movie sets you in. It's especially frustrating to do with a movie that is as eerie and quirky as Surveillance. I got caught up in setting up this blog and lost track of the time. Now it's almost 11 and I'm less than halfway through. So far, Jennifer Lynch has created an off-kilter and dark setting. I'm really enjoying everything from the ominous, tense music to the cringe-worthy characters. Bill Pullman plays such a wonderfully socially awkward FBI agent and French Stewart so far has played an amazing sociopath/dirty cop. Very sad to leave this setting, but to finish it, would mean less sleep, which means longer week, which means more and more complaining from yours truly. Well off to try and sleep and looking forward to finishing this movie. G'night.
